Córdoba Mosque-Cathedral: Ticket, Guided Tour or Night Visit?

The answer first
Choose a daytime guided tour if this is your first visit and you want the layers of mosque and cathedral explained in context. Choose the e-ticket with audio guide when control over your pace matters more than asking questions. The official night visit, “The Soul of Córdoba”, is a separate one-hour sound-and-light experience: atmospheric, but not a substitute for seeing the architecture in daylight.
What changes between the three choices
The independent option is the simplest: admission and an audio guide, with no group to follow. The two most-reviewed guided visits last 75 to 90 minutes and add a live guide. Some include only the Mosque-Cathedral; others combine it with the Jewish Quarter or Alcázar, so read the inclusions rather than relying on “skip the line” in the title.
The official night experience admits no more than 100 people, uses headphones in nine languages and does not allow photography or filming. Its route begins in the Patio de los Naranjos. That controlled format is the attraction, but it offers less freedom to pause.
Price and practical checks
The official general daytime ticket is €15; reduced and free categories require proof. The night visit is €25 general and €18 reduced. Prices for guided products on GetYourGuide start above the basic official ticket because they add interpretation and sometimes other monuments. Check the booking page for the language, meeting point and exact admission included.
This is an active place of Catholic worship. Opening times can change for services or exceptional events, suitable clothing is required, and last admission is 30 minutes before closing.
Our recommendation
For most first-time visitors, book a focused guided visit in your language during the day. Pick the audio-guide e-ticket if you already know the history or dislike group pacing. Add the night visit only when atmosphere is a priority and your schedule allows a second entry.
